Our brief history:
Simon Grubenmann moved to Canada from the small town of Leimbach, Switzerland at the age of 14. He and his family traveled across the ocean with the dream of running a small dairy farm. They now milk between 80 and 90 cows. They are crossbreeding many of their Holstein cows with Swiss Dairy/Beef breeds to produce stronger and healthier cows, which has now led Simon and his father to import cattle semen from Switzerland.
Dallas had her start with horses at the age of 10 when she joined a Pony Club by Devon, Alberta. She attended Olds College, the Equine Sciences program, and went on from there to Event with Donna & Dave Luckow of Meadowlark Training Farm in Arizona. After moving back to Canada she found and fell in love with Bucephalus ( TB stallion) and later met and fell in love with her husband, Simon.
Simon met and married Dallas in 1999 and in 2001 they purchased the farm where they currently reside. They are now in the process of creating a safe, comfortable home for the horses they raise and of course their three children.. Matthaeus came first in October of 2003 and then in May 2006 they were blessed with Lina. Their third blessing, Zoe, came in September 2007.
After the tragic loss of her stallion in the summer of 2004 Dallas has decided to start a new venture. Realizing the need for quality sport ponies for young riders and small adults she has decided to introduce a new man on the scene. Mikey is a New Forest Pony stallion that caught her attention immediately and found his way into both of their hearts. Dallas and Simon are looking forward to developing good quality sport ponies and horses and enjoying time with their ponies and family on the farm.
